Blood Red Witch Blade

I’m talking about the comics and not the anime. You know how marvel and dc fights? When there are other publishers out the like Image Comic which also publish good comics with a really good story line and not because of the hype. Well, witchblade is one of the comics that were publish in Image Comics and our character topic for today is Sara Pezzini.

witchblade10_600_928_sSara is a strong, determined, and mature woman. One of her defining characteristics is her black-and-white view of the world and of people, something that many characters in the series have called her out on. She has above average intelligence, and is very athletic and physically strong. She has police training in hand-to-hand combat, weapons, tactics and criminal investigation. She is also the current host of the Witchblade, she has been granted a wide array of supernatural abilities which just came into my mind now that her right hand armor closely resembles Nero of Devil May Cry with the Devil Arms.

Our cosplayer for today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.

The costume was worn last San Diego Cosplay Con. The dress was made from an old PVC fabric as well as for the under gauntlets. The Gloves weren’t made by Yaya han and was borrowed from one of he cosplay friend, Maegan which REALLY looks like Nero’s Devil arms. Arghhh I can’t really avoid talking about that, this literally looks like Nero’s Devil Arm but nevertheless it also closely resembles Sara’s Armor Gauntlets. I love how this cospaly was made within 3 hours! I am still expecting though for Yaya Han to make a full armor Sara Pezzini Armor from Witchblade.

Yaya Han really shown her quirkiness in making this 3 hours cosplay so let’s at least support her by following her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Channel and DeviantArt. Let’s also support her photographer Brian Boling photography.
