During Netflix’s announcement of the list of anime contents that will be released on its platform in 2019, one very familiar title on the list is Neon Genesis Evangelion. The series was reported to debut all 26 episodes beginning June 21 of this year.
On their official website, the working title for the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series has also been announced as Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 (Hepburn: Shin Evangerion Gekijōban) and is set to be released in 2020.
To commemorate this announcement, fans have been paying tribute through artworks and it was even reported that a mobile game, Ragnarok Eternal Love, even featured Neon Genesis Evangelion’s characters as part of their monthly event quests.
With that, I think this calls for a celebratory feature of a cosplay of one of the anime’s iconic characters who is none other than the tsundere queen herself, Asuka Langley.
