Fantine doesn’t get enough cosplay time, but this one by Cath P. Cua is so good that it almost makes up for the utter lack overall. This Fantine really shows her grisette (working girl) roots, wearing a dress that is clean and well-made but simple. The tea green sash goes well with the white undershirt and darker green-yellow dress fabric, and the hair (not sure if it’s a wig or not) is exquisitely curled. Here we see Fantine in all her youth and glory before she lost her job and fell upon bad times. It’s good to see her still living the dream before she loses it and can only sing about it.
