Wish-UponAStar’s cosplay of Ramandu’s Daughter is a lovely imagining of her appearance from C.S. Lewis’s The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. While this cosplay bears a passing resemblance to the Ramandu’s Daughter in the movie (there named Lilliandil) and is inspired by the movie’s trailer, it is overall fairly distinct and unique–which is its strength. This Lilliandil is slightly less cordial, slightly more aloof, which really speaks to her roots as a star, which involved having very little contact with humans, and because of that, likely very few social skills. The soft focus in the photo gives her the appearance of an aura, and the prop adds a splash of color to the predominantly white subject matter. The wig and dress look very star-like, as well. Very effective.
Ramandu’s Daughter – Narnia, the voyage of the dawn treader…
… I saw the trailer yesterday, and was speechless. I REALLY can’t wait for this movie! I thought also, even if you just have seen her shortly, that the Star’s daughter was really beautiful. (Yes, she did absolutely remind me of Lady Amalthea though.) Anyways.. I also.. *sighs* but who doesn’t? Wish King Caspian would marry me XD So, I came to the idea, just spontanous, to take some pics as Lilliandil <3 Even though i think I can not even close reach that lol. But! I love this wig, and by time I will make a new dress.. This was just spontanously made because by the time, there were hardly any good pictures of the movie and this is how I imagine looked like in the book. <3
I hope you like it <3
Ps: Who wonders how, when Caspian is married to her, he will sleep at night when she glows so lamp-like?
