It isn’t everyday that a character cosplayer has an excellent voice impression up his sleeve, as well… especially with a voice as distinctive as Peter Griffin’s. But Robert Franzese completely nails it every time. He is called the Real Life Peter Griffin, and the epithet is fitting: he has the right build, the right glasses, the right clothes, and even the right smile in addition to the voice. He made an appearance at the 2014 Allentown Comic Con, and people there already knew who he was and got a nice surprise (yes, he’s that famous).
The 2014 Allentown Comic Con played host to a very special guest: Family Guy’s Peter Griffin, in the flesh. This goes well beyond just “cosplay”.
Just look at him. He’s even got the chin! But what’s making this so great is that alongside the visuals that’s also one of the better Peter Griffin impersonations you’ll see as well.
