Darker than Goth

Gothic fashion really put their own position in the fashion industry but what is a Goth? or a gothic fashion? Gothic fashion is a clothing style marked by conspicuously dark, mysterious, antiquated and homogenous features. It is worn by members of the Goth subculture. A dark, sometimes morbid fashion and style of dress, typical gothic fashion includes a pale complexion with colored black hair, black lips and black clothes. Both male and female goths wear dark eyeliner and dark fingernail polish. Styles are often borrowed from the punk fashion, Victorians and Elizabethans. Goth fashion is sometimes confused with heavy metal fashion and emo fashion.

You remember around 2010s where the gothic culture really arise? Where every highschooler, colleges, and specially rockbands follow this all black, long hair and emo style fashion because it looked cool? There were, I mean, are even some who put dark eyelashes and contact lenses to look more gothic? Well, anime is not an exception to being tainted by the gothic influence. With our cosplayer today following a gothic lolita like fashion wearing those all black dress with black hair and black veil will really stamp the gothic resemblance unto your mind. But it really looks cute though and also lovable instead of being kinda scary.
