Just a little background, Touken Ranbu is a collectible card browser video game (free-to-play) that was developed by Nitroplus and together with DMM Games that is exclusively available in Japan since 2015.
The cosplayer, Yuune, decided to cosplay Gokotai as a dedication to people who rarely uses Gokotai in the Touken Ranbu game and believes that the red rope symbolizes Gokotai’s fear of being a weak and useless sword.
