I’ve always been fascinated by anime, and I love how far the genre has come with all the things technology allows for, especially in the colors department.
One of my favorite examples of vibrant colors can be found in shows like Spy x Family and in games like Tales of Berseria, which has one of my favorite examples of high-tech coloring ever, and I can marvel for hours at the opening just to see the red in Velvet’s outfit while she walks towards the screen before the main title shows up.
It is a breath of fresh air to see these kinds of improvements, and while I do treasure them deeply, I also have a soft spot for retro anime, like in Burn Up!, Saint Seiya, or the story that MoonConjured is now inviting us to watch with her: Devilman.
There’s a certain appeal to the old school animation that I find delightful, and while it does show its age a little bit when compared to the newer stuff, it’s still charming, which is a wonderful thing to share with a beautiful woman like MoonConjured, who today is wearing only her underthings to this movie night to make it extra special.
