Honestly, Yarrow has been the number one person to bring me into the world of some really good RPGs and even better old-school looking games than anyone and I would like to thank her for getting back into SKALD: Against The Black Priory once again.
Nothing gets me going quicker than a bit of Lovercraftian creatures on top of a mystery on top of something cooky and scary. Which is exactly what this game is, with of course, a whole crafting system because why not have that in every video game ever? The retro look of it all does excite me too because I love the idea of those games making a comeback style-wise.
