Seeing Billy the Puppet usually leads to screams of terror, because it emans you are stuck in one of Jigsaw’s devious traps. Today those screams are all joyful as they signal the beginning of Luccycollins’ show.
She has done such a fantastic job of bringing Billy to life in a creepy and cool way. There’s the tuxedo suit, the red bow tie and of course the spirals drawn on her cheeks. Even one of her eyes contains the same spiral pattern! I also love the way she has made her mouth look like it belongs to a puppet with just some lines.
Bring all of that together and you have a version of Billy that makes me very happy. There’s nothing to fear in Luccycollins’ show, the games she plays are all perfectly safe. Maybe just a little bit naughty.
