I feel like I’m in a 60s cabaret show or one of those really forbidden, but always popular 40s dancing girls theater performances. With the production of this entire setting, I feel like I should definitely be charged for VIP admission.
As the spotlight illuminates the backdrop, RocknRose is the center of attention as she sits on a chair. With every move she makes, the shadow cast in the background moves with such ease that it almost feels like storytelling through dance. There’s an effortless grace with how she fluidly makes her movements, almost like each one is tactfully placed (which it probably is) to combine artistry and mischief.
RocknRose‘s themed shows never disappoint and I’m very happy to have had the chance to behold joy in dance form – with a little flair added onto it too!
