“I finally get a bouquet and it’s a goodbye present. That’s depressing.” Spirited Away is one of the most titular movie ever made and was one of the movie directed by the famous Hayao Miyazaki. If incase you don’t know him, he’s a popular anime movie director who also made many famous movies in the past. Today we’ll dicuss about a character named Chihiro who got lost in a place where all kind of spirits gather.
Chihiro has brown hair and rosy cheeks. She is very petite and has a childlish appearance, and a quite pudgy face. Her attire includes a white T-shirt with green stripes, pink shorts, white socks and yellowish sneakers. While working in the bath house, she wears a pink and white dress and is barefoot. The portrayal of Chihiro in this cosplay met my expectation of a real life Chihiro and Dearttolife was able to portray by following these key factors on doing a Chihiro Cosplay which are Innocence, Child like appearance and the Setting. These factors are the key components on why this photography and cosplay is great and was able to picture the exact scenery in Spirited Away.
Our model for today is a Singaporean Cosplayer named Yuuka but usually goes by the name “dearttolife”. Dearttolife, despite being a singaporean is a hard core Japanese music lover. She listens to J-Rock, J Pop and most of the japanese composed instrumentals and symphony. Dearttolife had been cosplaying for almost 6 years now and as we can see she had cosplayed many popular characters from hit anime movies. Despite being a girl, cosplaying male characters is not impossible for dearttolife which only shows her professionalism on cosplaying both female and male characters.
