Mermaid Melody is an anime series that ran from April 2003 to December 2004 with 91 episodes. This is about the mermaid princess, Lucia Nanami, who saved a boy from a tsunami and fell in love with him and entrusted him with her pink pearl. 7 years later, she met the boy again, named Kaito DÅmoto, who is now a surfer. Kaito does not recognize Lucia in her human form and she cannot tell him who she is — or else she will turn into bubbles (as what legend says).
