Not only has fashion stylist/cosplay chick, as she refers to herself, Amber Arden posed as Snow White but has recently made and modeled in a snow-white-colored Suzy Sailor costume. Suzy Sailor is the creation of retro pop artist Fluff, a.k.a. Miss Fluff. Amber met Miss Fluff at ComiKaze in L.A. back in the fall and was so impressed with the opportunity that she decided to make her own Suzy Sailor outfit.
Amber poses beautifully in her costume in the photo below, taken by Fat Man Photography. She not only captures her costume’s character well, but her pose is also reminiscent of real-life 1950s pin-up girls. She even says Betty Page was one of her inspirations. Instead of the curls that Fluff often depicts her Suzy with, Amber styles her hair for her costume in a more straight manner yet leaving it semi bobbed like Snow White’s, giving the appearance of a Disney crossover. She did a great job on the snugness of the outfit and making use of the satin-looking neck-kerchief and the black ankle-strap high heels both of which Suzy is often depicted wearing. Although Amber has apparently not yet worn her costume to any cosplays, since she only finished it over the New Year’s weekend, you’ll probably see her wearing it to upcoming ones.

I adore Miss Fluff art & when I actually met her at Comikaze it was a dream to get a signed print! I promised myself I would portray one of her drawings! And I’m ecstatic!
