If you’re looking for something new to watch this 2019, Boogiepop Phantom is one of the new anime series and it was released on January 4, 2019.
Students started disappearing from Shinyo Academy but the school only said that they just ran away from home. All those students are girls and some students say that they might have been murdered by Boogiepop.
One of the students, Takeda saw his friend, Miyashita in a black cloak talking to the crowd why they were not helping the man in ragged clothes. She then whispered something to the man and helped him escape the police by turning their attention to her. Takeda did not do anything that time but Miyashita appeared to him the next day at the school rooftop introducing herself as the Boogiepop and one of Miyashita’s split personality.
If you are into a psychological, thriller type of anime, this one will surely catch your attention. It might be a bit slow at the first episode but as each episode is released, you’ll find it very entertaining.
