For years, fans from all over the world waited for Attack On Titan’s season 2 release date. There has been false alarms as well where other sites stated that the second season will be this year (2016) and some sites also said that there may be no season 2 after all.
Last July 2, 2016, Crunchyroll posted that there was an announcement during the Tokyo International Forum, where a gathering for an Attack Festival live-reading event with the cast of Attack on Titan and Attack on Titan Junior High was held.
After that, the official Japanese Twitter account for the Attack on Titan anime confirmed that the news is true.
Wit Studio — the animation studio responsible for the first season — will be returning for the most awaited second season at the same time, Tetsuro Araki will serve as chief director, with Masashi Koizuka moving up from episode director to overall director.
So when will the release date be?
It is set to air in spring 2017, although no specific date was mentioned, the definite year of release will be in 2017.
