With just 11 days of preparation and promotion for the event, it is a big surprise for everyone even the management team that the Cyberzone Cosplay Craze was very successful. Everyone came prepared when it started 11 AM, everyone is already pumped up for the contest since there’s a big cash prize for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners. Maybe there are some who joined the contest for the prize but mostly, by looking at them, went there to enjoy. There are 132 participants, which is a real surprise for a very short notice, and only 20 contestants made it to the finals. From 20, only 3 will be the final winners,
One of the judges is Ban Azure, the Philippines’ representative in the Cosplay contest in Singapore last November 2015. They had a parade at Mountain Wing Atrium and by 4 PM, the winners were finally announced.
Amidst the summer heat, the cosplayers don’t seem to mind the heat with the makeup and heavy, layer-by-layer costume.
That’s what makes the event enjoyable and worth it, even parading on the heat — the participants’ passion with Cosplay.
