I’ve seen Batman outfits before, but there is something about RubyViolence and her bat socks. That’s right, bat socks. Okay, so I have to say that the bat skirt and the leather stud gloves are also a great touch. Ruby Violence has the body and tone to pull off this look. Amelia G and Forrest Black did a fantastic job displaying Ruby Violence in all her bat glory. One of the key components to this shoot is actually Ruby Violence herself. She has a set of tattoos that aren’t visible until later, but they actually add to the Batman look. If you want to take your mind off the long wait before Batman v Superman comes out, then look no further.
In honor of this shoot going live, Forrest Black and I watched the most recent Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, which just hit cable. Dark Knight 2 was much more political than I would have guessed from its buzz. Maybe I’m just a softie for guys who rock a post-apocalyptic goth-industrial look and want to change the world. Anyway, Ruby Violence is such a pleasure to work with and she looks mighty fine taking off the Bat Signal gear.
