Growing up, CLAMP’s creations have always been something to look forward do. Art-wise, they were consistent with their style, and story-wise, it’s always been magical. They’ve tied some of the worlds from their different creations together and the characters they make from different titles sometimes make cameos in CLAMP’s other works.
CICI Gemini’s cosplay of xxxHolic’s mysterious enchantress, Yuuko Ichihara, is indeed a delightful treat. Personally, I think it’s quite challenging to get Yuuko’s look accurately – from the hair style, the accessories, down to the type of fabric on Yuuko. Yuuko’s hair style is cut in different layers – she’s got bangs, she’s got a hime(princess) cut down by her cheek, another cut by her waist and finally all the rest of the hair goes down to her feet. Although it was not shown in the photo what the wig looks like from the back, but CC Gemini’ss wig was cut just right as seen on the front part. The Kimono she wore is among one of those most commonly sold by shops. The color could’ve been made to be brighter with a different fabric, but thanks to the background and post processing all elements in the photo just seemed to work out
