Famed cosplayer Eve Beauregard graces us today with her impressive rendition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s sultry magic-using seductress, Yennefer of Vengerberg. For the uninitiated, Yennefer is a mage of immense powers and is one of the long-time love interests of the game’s recurring protagonist, the witcher Geralt of Rivia. She also loves to dress in sexy black outfits, which is always a big plus in my book, but I digress. I’m a huge fan of the whole The Witcher series (mostly the video games really), so pardon my nerdiness on the issue. Now on to the meat of the subject!
A self-proclaimed “professional nerd” and “lizard queen” (exactly what that is, I seriously don’t know), Eve Beauregard is one of the most popular cosplayers hailing from Australia. Based in Sydney, she is a familiar face in most major conventions around the world. When she’s not geeking out as a cosplayer or a panelist for events, she’s out fundraising for charity through her group MEDIC!, which is “a group of geeky, intelligent, powerful, and inspiring women who have come together to help causes close to their hearts.” Wow, that is some powerful stuff there. Kudos to these inspirational women!
As for Eve’s portrayal of Yennefer of Vengerberg, for me as an avid fan of The Witcher series, there can be only one apt word to describe it – perfection! Hope to see more of her Yennefer cosplays in the coming conventions, especially one with the alternate outfit that’s a bit more revealing than the character’s usual clothing.
