Jessica Rabbit Gained

jessica_rabbit_by_umintsu-d8btljwIt’s obvious in the society that the norm is the only way to be sexy is to be slim. I’m not gonna defy it, hate me if you will but that’s just the norm and I grew up believing that but one woman in the cosplay industry defied all of it. Before introducing who she is, let’s introduce first character she’s cosplaying and it’s none other than Jessica Rabbit – Jessica Rabbit is a toon human wife of Roger Rabbit, she’s known for the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In the book, she was an amoral upcoming star and former comic strip character, over whom her estranged husband, fellow comic strip star Roger Rabbit, obsessed. In the film, she is re-imagined as a sultry, but moral cartoon actress and singer at a Los Angeles supper club called the Ink and Paint Club. Her speaking voice was provided by Kathleen Turner, while her singing voice was provided by Amy Irving.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. Apparently a cosplay named Ardella is famous for her willingness to cosplay and expressing herself. I admire her because for the fact that even though she has that type of body figure, she doesn’t lose confidence. I’m sure everyone will say “she’s not the only one like that”, “go to a cosplay con and you will see people like her”, “noob” but I do know that, I’ve been in cosplay con, comic con and toycons and majority of the people are like that or are too thin to wear the costume but what I’m trying to say is that she got popular because of it. Another thing is the way she portrayed Jessica Rabbit with the figure she has is great. She’s still able to get that seductive and alluring Jessica Rabbit vibe with her in the shoot.
