It’s been a while since I last spotted a Dead or Alive (DoA) cosplay, leading me to wonder if the game and its characters had faded into obscurity. However, Hoshilily has defied my expectations and is actively preserving the legacy of DoA through her cosplay. With her dedication, she may even introduce more people to the game and keep its memory alive.
DoA’s Kasumi made her debut in the original Dead or Alive game during its 1996 arcade release as one of the original eight characters. Over time, Kasumi evolved into the main protagonist of the Dead or Alive series and is widely regarded as the series mascot. Notably, she emerged victorious as the champion of the first Dead or Alive Tournament.
