There’s something so cozy about all those old-school RPG games and Yarrow is taking everyone on a retro adventure today by playing SKALD: Against The Black Priory.
The game itself is very new, but it’s styled to look like an old fantasy RPG game with turn based combat and some Lovecraftian creatures. There’s a whole lot of text along to way and she acts as the perfect narrator, reading all of this text out loud to make sure everyone can follow the story. Is that a nightmarish creature I see lurking around the corner? I’m sure she can fight it off.
There’s still lots more to the game and I look forward to seeing how Yarrow’s adventure continues as she explored the dark world of SKALD.
