RocknRose is an incredibly talented and skilled set designer. She does truly complete scenarios for her livestreams. Tonight, as Halloween month kicks off, she is cosplaying Morticia. Everything is in spookily elegant black and white, with flickers of lightning across the scene. The music is a brilliantly selected assortment of tracks which are mournful and dirgey but modern and just really setting the mood. A lot of gothic female vocals and sad string sounds. Plus a bit of Type O Negative. Her October tip menu includes things called “Flying Ghosts” and “Holy Moly THIS Costume is Amazing.” I think the former actually makes little cartoon ghosts fly around the screen and the latter is just kind of always true for RocknRose. She styles non-October shows over-the-top, but somehow manages to even kick it up a notch in Halloween month, which I would not have even thought was possible, if I had not witnessed it myself.
