Miku’s Black Vow

Black Vow is the title of the song composed by Vocaloid starring Miku and Rin. The song tells of the angel Rin, that stumbles upon a girl, Miku Crynpto, who Rin instantly falls in love with. But, love between an angel and a human is forbidden, and Rin yearns to find a way for them to be together. She kisses her and dissapears in shame. Afterwards Miku meets a mysterious boy named Len, and falls in love with him. Although she is to be wed to another man, she left with Len. But, another angel, Kaito, Rin’s old partner has been sent to punish Miku and kills her. Len reveals himself to be Rin, having given up one wing to the devil to be with her. She gave up her last wing to save Miku, sacrificing herself and leaving a single feather.

One thing I never expected to see is a very gothic look featuring Miku. Ever since I first lay eyes on Miku, I always picture her of someone joyful and full of life. Being careless and just goes with the flow, but black vow is different, it features something serious, romantic and tragic which is really in someway affected my image of Miku but NOT in a bad way. Like in this cosplay, the cosplayer was able to get this black gown with the mint color hair, which shows the exact image of Miku in the Music video. Another thing to be noted is the setting of the shoot matches with the video, an old western building where most nobles gather.
