Some of the best episodes of InuYasha are when InuYasha goes to visit Kagome in her future world, resulting in myriad misunderstandings about modern technology and social cues. And as any self-respecting InuYasha fan knows, InuYasha + trouble = winning comedic formula. Since his dog ears don’t really fit into the modern Tokyo scene, InuYasha dons a hat to cover them up every time he visits. The ears are still visible over the hat in Ascher Lucas’s cosplay, which proves what I suspected all along: they’re just so cute that nobody can cover them up. Not everybody who cosplays InuYasha bothers to deal with the amber eyes, so serious kudos to Ascher Lucas for getting them exactly right.
