Cosplayers spend hours and hours creating their intricate cosplays. They also spend time practicing carefully chosen poses for when they stand in their designated spots at the event area and get their photos taken by hundreds of people all day. Most of these cosplayers carry “coscards” or cosplay cards, which act like business cards that contain their pseudonyms (to keep their privacy) and social media URLs. So if you happen to attend conventions in Japan, be sure to ask for a coscard after you take a cosplayer’s photo so you know where to tag them.
