“The world is changing: I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth and I smell it in the air” This is a line from the popular anime movie titled Princess Mononoke. This movie is just great and not just any great, since it can be proven on the awards it gathered such as the Grand Prize and Special Achievement Award; Golden Gross Award, Best Japanese Movie; The Association of Movie Viewing Groups, Movie Award; The 39th Mainichi Art Award * Best Director; Tokyo Sports Movie Award, Best Picture; The 21st Japanese Academy Awards and many more since this is just 1/10 of it I believe. The cosplay today represent a character from that movie and surprisingly was able to put the white fox their and made it very natural. The animal coat the the cosplayer was wearing was so clean and copied which is good. The facial expression was better than the rest since the cosplayer was able to copy this curious but dissatisfied look on her face. But who is she cosplaying exactly? I mean who is San?
When San was a baby, the wolf goddess Moro attacked her parents, who were found damaging the forest. San’s parents threw her to Moro as a sacrifice to save their own lives. San’s primary concern is protecting the forest and the animals she lives with. San rejects her own humanity and even thinks of herself as a wolf. She has attempted to assassinate Eboshi of Irontown many times, as San believes that Eboshi’s death will result in the end of Irontown and human growth into the surrounding forest. It is only by Ashitaka’s affection to her that she slowly comes to acknowledge her human side as well.
But who cosplayed who? Our model for this article today is an amateur cosplayer from Vietnam name Chuongtu but I really doubt that amateur part if you look at her works though, stay humble Chungtu! She is an Student Artist and has a hobby for photography and cosplay. She mainly posts her works in her Deviant Account, ChungTu DeviantArt. She also has her own Facebook Fanpage named Wao Cosplayer. Besides having social media pages and art galleries she also post her works on her Blog at Wao Cosplay WordPress. Let’s also follow her on her Twitter Page Well she did say that she’s an amateur cosplayer but can you really believe that with her works? what more if she continued cosplaying for years? How much more can she possibly achieve? So let’s support her to see. Let’s give thanks to May Kasahara for the great photography.
