This will really strike your heart. Some people (specifically DOTA players) hate League of Legends logic of giving/selling costumes that are really out of the Game’s Lore that it became the reason why they don’t want to even play it. I’m a DOTA and LOL player but I don’t find anything bad about it. League of Legends became unique on it’s own by doing that. Like our topic for today which is Ashe with the Heartseeker costume which is obviously an out of the lore’s costume. I mean Ashe is like the Traxex/Drow Ranger in DOTA and she’s wearing some Japanese Kawaii Love Idol Cosplay but I can’t argue with that I love how LOL put into the game.
Ashe was always a dreamer. She marveled at the colossal, abandoned fortresses of her ancestors, and spent hours by the fire listening to tales of the Freljord’s fabled champions. Most of all she loved the legend of Avarosa, the renowned Queen of the once magnificent and united Freljord. Though her mother chided her foolishness, Ashe swore one day she would join the scattered and warlike tribes of the tundra. She knew in her heart that if her people would stand together once more, they would reach greatness again.
Our cosplayer for today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.
Yaya Han used a variety of fabrics and mixed them together, which is really needed because of the complexity of the outfit. The costume was tapered in a jacket to be wider at the bottom and was made out of double circle skirt instead of the mini skirt. She chose the luxurious fabrics as red silk, a lavender swirl patterened satin, a maroon brocade and a matte metallic plum colored pvc. The red silk bodice was custom made and was tailored over the jacket. The jacket is fully lined and custom patterned. The capedrapes almost like a flag in the game so she made it to be stiff and heavy. All the gold trimming was hand patterned. And with all those gibberish and complex explanation we now have the kawaii heartseeker outfit of Ashe which is really kinda new for me. I mean for Yaya Han’s side because she always cosplay something sexy but with this Heartseeker outfit I kinda fell inlove more on her cosplay because of the different side of her cosplaying that was shown in the photoset. I really hope she post more of this kind of cosplay CUTENESS > SEXINESS.
