We knew a little bit from episode 1 and this episode shows that there are other drifters than the one shown on the first episode.
As usual, there are funny parts in this anime, although the style of this anime looked serious. Also, the villains of this story are starting to show up, although it was not clear on the first place that the elf with the magic ball is a friend or a foe.
Nobunaga, Toyohisa and Yoichi saved the townspeople from the mean soldiers and even let them finish off the commander by turning their fear into anger towards the commander. Well, actually, Nobunaga just started the fire and Toyohisa did the rest. The two (Yoichi and Nobunaga) are just sitting and watched him singlehandedly finish the soldiers. This scene is gruesome like on the first episode but it is just the right “gruesomeness” when it comes to the story.
It seems like the “front desk” guy, Murasaki sent Nobunaga, Yoichi and Toyohisa for a reason to that place because his arch enemy (or so it seems) Easy, is the antagonist of the story and is responsible for the oppressors of the other world.
Also, the spy since episode 1, Semu, belongs to the “Ends” or Easy’s soldiers. It’s such a shame I thought he’d be on the Drifter’s side.
I think the Ends and the Drifters’ battle is going to be an epic one.
