Cruel Intentions came out strong last 1999 and I considered it as a very bold type of movie. I’ve watched the other succeeding sequels, but I think that nothing beats that first movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar? first because Buffy, The Vampire Slayer was very big that time and that means I love Sarah Michelle Gellar) Selma Blair (because I think she really looks classic), Reese Witherspoon (whom I later loved due to Legally Blonde) and Ryan Philippe (I don’t think there’s a single girl in the 90s who doesn’t find him hot).
Variety.com announced and confirmed that Roger Kumble, creator of Cruel Intentions — told them that both NBC and Sony are talking about how to put things together about the said TV show.
What’s good about this show — even though Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Philippe and Selma Blair will not be in the said soap — Sarah Michelle Gellar (the star of the movie in my own opinion) who stars as Kathryn Merteuil will be in the said show as a regular and even reprising her role! Boy, are we so glad when Gellar herself confirmed it with her famous line via instagram saying: ‘That’s right “everybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way” #kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv ) on the new #Crueltv.’
Yes, we’re glad to see you and the show back as well and can’t wait to see Kathryn’s Cruel Intentions again.
