I was a bit ‘before’ the Goosebumps era (or I was isolated from it due to the cultural bubble of my hometown), but I do recognize the greatness in the stories now (and hopefully in the movie with Jack Black). If I needed any further coaxing on this, all I had to do was look at Deckard and her (no pun) spread. As a kid, I thought books talked to me. After seeing the GodsGirls spread with Deckard, I know just how right I was.
This shoot is great because it demonstrates a total geek-on for me. You have the pigtailed Deckard reading a book that tells her to take her clothes off. The power of RL Stine’s words must be working overtime as she complies, quite willingly (and with a pouted face that really works for me). I’ll show you a few pictures of what I mean, but the really great ones are, of course, not safe for work. Sorry guys n gals!
