I know that November isn’t around the corner anytime soon but because of the superheroes and sci-fi films lately, wouldn’t it be great to take a break and watch something different?
I’m talking about The Other Side of the Door which is scheduled to be released internationally on May 4,2016. This story is about a mother who lost her son in an accidentally and left her devastated that she attempted to suicide. Their housekeeper advised her that they can make one last goodbye to their son through the shamans back in their village.
This is where the title comes from. Their housekeeper advised her to scatter her son’s ashes at the temple and lock herself in and she will be able to speak with their son; however, no matter what happens she must not open the door. When Maria (the mother) spoke with Oliver, she asked for forgiveness for leaving him and her son, Oliver, begged her to open the door. Forgetting what they advised her, she opened the door but found no one there.
After this, there will be a series of events that will leave you screaming at the edge of your seat.
The main cast of The Other Side of The Door includes Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes of of The Walking Dead) and Jeremy Sisto (Law & Order) directed by Johannes Roberts.
