Elphaba from Wicked never goes out of season, but her coloring is best suited to spring. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Wicked Witch of the West, or fearfully await the ides of March with one of fiction’s most fearsome figures. Windfox14 has a wild tangle of hair and wicked grin in this cosplay, adding a wonderful crazed look to the character. It’s easy to picture her flying around on her broomstick like this. The hat is so cool that I wish more of it turned up in the photo. The flower appliqués on the glittery robe give the cosplay a breath of spring, showing that Elphaba has more style sense than she’s commonly credited for.
