One of the more popular anime shows this season is “Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka” (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?), also known as DanMachi, for short. Apparently, long, wordy anime titles are trendy as well, but what do I know? I just watch ’em like your average, run-of-the-mill anime aficionado. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out what this show is about, though!
Misa, a very prominent cosplayer from Taiwan, portrays Hestia, the show’s ever so adorable and quirky female lead. All things considered, she’s actually a perfect fit for this cosplay. Her height and frame, trademark kiddish-cute looks, and more importantly (at least for this particular cosplay) bustiness, are all what you would expect of a flawless Hestia portrayal. Absolute perfection, I’d say!
In the anime, Hestia is nicknamed “loli big-boobs” because of her small stature and busty chest. It’s pretty obvious here that Misa fits the bill on all accounts. As with all her big budget cosplays, the costume she crafted for this shoot is top-notch and very accurate to the original source. Definitely can’t have Hestia without that bust-enhancing underboob string. Definitely!
As a side note trivia, Hestia’s underboob string actually caused a fad with the female (and even male, egads!) fans of the show, back during its premiere. Photos of fans trying to recreate the “physics-defying” underboob string were all over Twitter then.
