As someone who has adored every one of the companions in Doctor Who, I am both excited and leery to meet the new one, Clara. I still haven’t quite accepted the fact that we no longer have Rose, but I am always confident that I will be impressed by what is ahead.
There isn’t much to be known about the new companion yet, except for the fact that she is from the Victorian era and that she is, as actress Jenna-Louise Coleman stated, “feisty” and “not intimidated by the Doctor”.
I think it sounds like she is going to be a very fun match for the Doctor and like he just might have met his match. I personally believe it’s healthy for him to have someone to challenge him and I am hoping this new girl will give our darling Doctor a run for his money.
