I asked the internet what a G6 is and apparently this is slang for a particular variety of Gulfstream often owned as a private jet. Not that owning a Gulfstream is common, but the likely purpose when one exists is commonly to function as a private jet. Fortunately, I know what a d6 is without asking.
Technically, it should be a d20, of course, but that wouldn’t really fit the rhyme. To get really technical, there is probably not a Gulfstream VI yet, but, according to an interview with a UCLA publication, the songwriters of Like a G6 had already come up with lyrics name-checking Three 6 Mafia and they needed something to rhyme with Three 6. Really really technically, rhyming six and six is not exactly rhyming, so much as repetition, but I guess we can let that slide.
I can’t believe I somehow managed to miss this video when it first came out. (The d6 one, not the G6 one.) I came across it now because cam girl RainbowBryte tweeted about it. Search her up on MFC to get your video news.
