When the darkness embraces earth at night. I’m not really a die hard fan of Sailor Moon but when I encountered this Mistress cosplay I’ve got to share it to you guys. Mistress 9 is a Daimon from Tau Nebula; an evil spirit who serves Pharaoh 90. This is the original depiction of the character created by Naoko Takeuchi. Mistress Nine is an evil female entity from “Tau Ceti Star System” who has come to Earth to help open a gateway for her master, Pharaoh 90. She possesses Hotaru Tomoe’s body (to varying degrees of intensity). She has long black hair and dark eyes. She wears a blue sleeveless top with white beads and a long white dress. She also wears earrings with white beads.
Thoughts on the cosplay? I’ve got to say that this cosplay representation is 100x better than the anime representation. And that’s really a big deal since it’s much much easier to do a very cute and gorgeous character design through anime than doing it in real life since you’ve got to have the body, the face and skills to make the cosplay. Well even though Mistress is an evil character or an antagonist in the series, she really looks cute and innocent with these photoshoots specially with the very light and bright settings.
Now our cosplayer for today is one of Milligan Vick‘s model, Iris. Milligan is a professional photographer, make up artist, graphic artist who knows a lot of model or cosplayers who she can collaborate with either making a costumer with or for her and doing the photoshoot and lightroom editing. See for yourself the expression, the costume, the hair, the body feature of the model really matches the character. For all I can say this is one of Milligan Vick’s masterpiece.
