All Hail the Holy Empire of Britania! But wait, Britain isn’t an empire right? I mean they were an empire but at this age they are not. Well nevertheless for the topic for today I’ll not talk about OUR Britain here on Earth but the Britain in the anime world, specifically Code Geass, one of the greatest anime of all time and I’m not exaggerating it’s one of the few anime I can proudly say GREAT even after time passed by like FMA Brotherhood, Kuroko no Basket, Death Note and more.
Well going back to our topic which is COSPLAY, the character for today is Euphemia li Britania. Euphemia 16 years old, is the Third Princess of the Britannian Imperial Family, Euphemia is Lelouch vi Britannia’s half-sister and the sister he cares most about after Nunnally. Euphemia is the Sub-Viceroy of Area 11, a role she admittedly does not enjoy. Euphemia admires her older sister, Cornelia, but despises all combat in general, though is capable of piloting a Knightmare Frame, as seen in the battle at the Empire’s Shikine Island Base.
Now our cosplayer for today is one of Milligan Vick‘s model, Iris. Milligan is a professional photographer, make up artist, graphic artist who knows a lot of model or cosplayers who she can collaborate with either making a costumer with or for her and doing the photoshoot and lightroom editing. See for yourself the expression, the costume, the hair, the body feature of the model really matches the character. For all I can say this is one of Milligan Vick’s masterpiece. If you’ve watched Code Geass, you mostly have known that Suzaku, a knightmare pilot, has an affair with Euphemia and the theme for this cosplay is mainly about Euphemia visiting Suzaku in his dream. We can say on Euphemia’s expression on this photographs that she had lost hope mainly and this is because of the chaotic family of the King of Britain. Well anyway I really love how the colors matches and looks natural for this cosplay like for example, cosplaying a pink hair character is very hard since a pink colored hair is very vibrant and will not look natural but through the right shade and smoke, Milligan was able to make it like Iris (model) grew that pink hair herself. I the cosplay portrayed Euphemia, the expression of being kind and caring but have been robbed by the world.
