What if you have the power to make someone fall in love with you. I think it’ll be a double edge sword. Why? For the positive note, you can make anyone do as you will because like what Courage the cowardly dog said “The things you do for love”. Hell, you can even make a whole country obey what you will because of love but on the negative side, will you truly find true love? In the process you’ll definitely rely on your powers to be loves, if you were interested on someone, that someone will automatically fall in love with you but how would you know that you truly love him/her without sacrifices? Well that’s what happened to CC her powers “to be loved” became weakness.

cc4-web_600_900_sCC is the tritagonist and one of the main characters of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Her seiyu is Yukana while she is voiced by Kate Higgins in the English dub. C.C. is not her real name; she involuntarily reveals her real name to Lelouch in her sleep, but it is muted so the viewers cannot hear it. Before becoming immortal, C.C.’s Geass, as contracted with a nun during apparently medieval times, granted her the power “to be loved,” which allowed her to make anyone around her love her. She originally started with a Geass symbol in her left eye, but as she matured, she eventually developed another in her right, implying that she became unable to control it, causing everyone to love her.

Our cosplayer for today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.

I really love this kind of cosplay instead of the mainstream sexiness. I don’t know but just recently I kinda got interested in this kind of cosplay focusing on cuteness and elegancy. For this cosplay, Yaya Han is wearing a Red Velvet Dress with butterfly templates which were cut out trim (which is obviously freaking hard). According to Yaya Han, the detail of this cosplay is so complicated she needed the help of her friends, Jessica and Megan to trace out the templates to make patterns. After the trim, Yaya Han made the bodice which is boned and lined in coutil. Overall I love how the skirt of the dress was layered and copied the orignal art from Code Geass.

Yaya Han is one of the great cosplayer in the world with a great talent for both modelling and tailoring her costumes let’s at least support her by following her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Channel and DeviantArt. Let’s also support her photographer SAKS photography.
