The ruffled trim keeps it cute, while the cropped design suggests this maid has completed exactly none of the household tasks assigned to her.
The round glasses are a particularly good addition. Between the ears, the frills and the polite little smile, this feels less like hired help and more like a cat that has somehow acquired an apron and access to the payroll.
