Fortnite has never looked less like a survival game and more like JessWhitmore on a completely unserious side quest. There she is in the little webcam box, locked in, while Meg is running around Chiseled Cubes dressed like she got lost on the way to a Disney parade and accidentally wandered into a gunfight.
While her character looks like she should be twirling at a royal ball, she’s clearing rooms with a pistol and scavenging ammo off the floor. It is Meg if Meg got sick of Hercules, stole his loot, and rotated early to zone. For a second it stops being Fortnite and becomes one of those moments where the game accidentally looks cooler than it has any right to. Five seconds later somebody is probably hiding in a corner with a green weapon and all the elegance disappears.
