Twilitskye is playing SoulQuest like every forest platform is a personal betrayal and every spike ceiling has unpaid rent in her name.
The game is already doing too much in the best way: pixel heroine, Celtic myth drama, dead beloved motivation, plague warnings, goblins getting juggled like emotional baggage and a giant boss who looks like he wandered out of a pub fight with HP bars instead of manners. I do enjoy just how locked into the whole thing she is to be fair, because as much as it’s a mythological grievance simulator, she seems to be chilling through it.
Honestly, SoulQuest looks like if Castlevania, Shovel Knight and a very dramatic Irish funeral formed a girl group and Twilitskye is in the midst of it all, filing a sword-based appeal against death itself!
