Road 96 is basically hitchhiking simulator if the Uber driver might be a murderer, the cops are allergic to teenagers and every road snack is a matter of national security. Lorelain_ is out here in the woods stacking stones like a tiny forest accountant while Petria is collapsing politically in the background. Very peaceful. Very scenic. Very one wrong dialogue option and suddenly the border patrol is calling this a learning experience.
This is my first time seeing this game in full and I love the idea of a bunch of teens going through a bunch of woods to get to places but I also like horror so here I am hoping something crazy is going to come out and hunt them. The vibe is hitchhike, survive, meet Zoe, avoid Jarod, side-eye Sonya, pray Stan and Mitch only rob someone else, then somehow still end up with one dollar and a cassette tape.
And I want to see exactly how Lorelain_ completes the Oregon Trail!
