Gandalf? Is it Gandalf? Well, at least it’s a version of Gandalf that is missing the party because FayeWilde is sitting there with eyes glued to the screen while the best part of the movie comes about. Orcs screaming, ships crashing, entire civilizations on the brink… and she’s vibing through it all because I know she is the fan of all fans.
First the animations, now the thing that made it uber famous. Middle-earth is fighting for its life and she’s wrapped in a blanket with the biggest smile on her face. The moment that bow comes up on screen, there’s that tiny shift. Her eyes sharpen a bit. Her posture adjusts. That’s the Legolas effect. Nobody survives it.
Who will survive this fight though? Well, no spoilers or anything, but FayeWilde is one dramatic soundtrack away from standing up in her room like she’s about to personally defend Gondor.
