Phasmophobia really is the only game where a fully grown adult walks into a haunted house, whispers the ghost’s name and then acts surprised when the spirit clocks with a whole lot of revenge. EMF five, freezing temps, spirit box response and suddenly Twisted_alice is the ghostbuster of all ghostbusters.
There’s always that moment where everything is calm, footsteps echo, doors creak politely and it feels manageable. Then the lights start flickering and that’s when I myself alt tab out of the game because I will not be participating. But not for her. In fact, she’s going in harder knowing that she will be the entire Squad solving the mystery of the ghost.
Clipboards, thermometers, spirit boxes, very professional. It’s less paranormal and more ghost-hosted panic simulator with Twisted_alice at the helm of it all, just solving!
