Chattacon began as a casual relaxacon in the 1970’s, with a focus on positive fandom. Unlike most similar conventions, this one managed to grow into a bigger and bigger event, while maintaining a true fandom vibe. Guests of Honor include Toni Weisskopf, Michael Bielaczyc, Amanda Makepeace, and Brian Cooksey, along with a large ensemble of genre writers, illustrators, and makers.
