MalaikaBrown looks like the thousand-year-old mage finally discovered that the greatest spell in the grimoire was turning the standard adventurer uniform into an after-hours variant.
The white cape, gold trim and dark striped costume pull the design straight toward Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. It keeps the clean fantasy palette associated with Frieren, but takes considerably fewer precautions against cold weather, monster attacks and Fern’s disapproving stare. Even without the silver wig and pointed ears, the costume has enough recognizable ingredients to cook up the reference.
Of course, no Frieren is complete without the possibility of a mimic nearby. Somewhere off-screen there is absolutely a treasure chest containing nothing but teeth and bad intentions and despite centuries of magical knowledge MalaikaBrown would still climb inside it immediately.
