Plug suit energy turned all the way up like someone just yelled to sync rate 400% and nobody questioned it. MalaikaBrown surely didn’t and I surely am not questioning her cosplay because I would say it’s just about pitch perfect.
It all screams Unit-02 about to deploy, except instead of Nerv HQ it’s a softly lit bedroom and instead of angels it’s a broadcast that does a little more than Asuka is typically used to. She’s sitting there with that calm, slightly unimpressed look, which is exactly how Asuka looks five seconds before doing something wildly unnecessary but undeniably effective. I just know that a Shinji is missing every cue, a Rei is silently judging, yet she’s already three steps ahead deciding she will, in fact, handle it herself.
If the suit starts moving on its own, nobody is surprised. If it doesn’t, MalaikaBrown probably just carries the whole operation anyway.
