A whole pastel command center is humming quietly while the Enterprise does its thing in the corner, like Starfleet got absorbed into a candy-colored operating system. I do love Nevermakeawish‘s focus because she just looks locked in, which I understand because Star Trek is just that good to watch over and over again.
Now, I haven’t watched Star Trek in ages so I have no clue what’s going on beyond just a few little moments here and there, but I do love the nods and moments that I can identify and it buzzes me back into the show. The amount of random in this entire series is unmatched. And I want more of it.
The real mission is just vibing through an episode like it’s a long-haul voyage. No red alerts, no photon torpedoes, just snacks, side-eyes, and a steady cruise through space drama with captain-level commitment for Nevermakeawish it is!
